Spring is finally here in the north. And it sure took its own sweet time in coming. I just got back from my first camping trip. A friend snapped this photo of my new rig. And I am learning to drive it. I can even back it up and park it. Of course not in a real tight spot yet. But give me time.

Isn't springtime wonderful!? Be careful with that thing! I can't imagine actually driving it, but it must feel amazing to drive it and know you're not hitting anything!!

My old girl dog Mona passed away last month at the ripe old age of 15. My boy Jax is also becoming quite ill. So it is looking like I will lose the husband and both dogs within 12 months.

When Sara first arrived, Jax loved her and would play very nicely with hre. Now, he is not interested in playing. She finds that very frustrating. But she has learned to play fetch. And I try to take her many places so that she gets tired out. I have taken her out in the woods to repair fences. She helps feed the horses. Planting in the garden was a little interesting as she found out there was a lot of soft dirt. Today she climbed a ladder to get to the barn cats. After she got up there, she became worried about getting down. I had to rescue her. Life is not boring.
