Camping again

Spring is finally here in the north. And it sure took its own sweet time in coming. I just got back from my first camping trip. A friend snapped this photo of my new rig. And I am learning to drive it. I can even back it up and park it. Of course not in a real tight spot yet. But give me time.

Hi, Dawn, how are you hon??

Wow, that is some trailer you've got there! *iz jealous*

Isn't springtime wonderful!? Be careful with that thing! I can't imagine actually driving it, but it must feel amazing to drive it and know you're not hitting anything!!

Congrats, looking forward to more pics/posts from you!!

*hugs*

Isn't it pretty? It is all aluminium and is 29 feet 7 inches long from the tip of the nose to the rear bumber. And see how nice it matches my big red truck. I will get better driving it as I have more practice. btw, The fastest I have pulled it so far is 55 mph. But it handles like a dream. And I am so happy that I got it. There are some pictures of the interior over on fb.
*hugs* back

Oh God, it's so good to see you doing something like this! I know how much you've loved doing things like this. And it looks beautiful where you camped. Anissa is going to be jealous on all levels when she sees this. Horses and camping and the trailer! *hugs you tight*

I'm so glad to hear that you're well. Did you take the monsters with you?

I am the one leading the sorrel horse and Betty the mule is right behind us. My elderly boy dog Jax and the puppy Sara went too. Sara is wonderful to take along. She loves everything and everybody. Well she does not lilke getting wet or cold.

My old girl dog Mona passed away last month at the ripe old age of 15. My boy Jax is also becoming quite ill. So it is looking like I will lose the husband and both dogs within 12 months.

Sounds like a great family trip. And Sara really does sound hilarious. How old are she and Jax? And how does Jax react to this crazy little puppy?

Sara is a blast to be around and is almost 5 months old now. She weighs in at around 17 pounds. Jax is now 13 and is slowingdown. I am having ahard time keeping weight on him. He reminds me of a frail little old man.
When Sara first arrived, Jax loved her and would play very nicely with hre. Now, he is not interested in playing. She finds that very frustrating. But she has learned to play fetch. And I try to take her many places so that she gets tired out. I have taken her out in the woods to repair fences. She helps feed the horses. Planting in the garden was a little interesting as she found out there was a lot of soft dirt. Today she climbed a ladder to get to the barn cats. After she got up there, she became worried about getting down. I had to rescue her. Life is not boring.
