AX 2010!!
OMFG AS;LDKFJSFDK!
Ok, so just GETTING there was an adventure in itself!
For one thing, I was a bit sleep deprived as I'd woken up at 3 am and couldn't fall back asleep >_<
And then Sam-san told me that she was going to be in a concert at the Nokia theater from 1:30 to 4 and this is the lady who were getting our passes from...yeaah...we were originally supposed to go at 2 pm.
So I wake up Rachel and hope that we make it there in time! I tell her that we'll get there around 1:30....we leave my house at 1:15.......
Thankfully the 10 freeway was NOT a b*tch for the first time and we literally to the corner where my friend is waiting at 1:30 exactly HAHAHA! I roll down the window and she passes us the bags with the passes inside and wishes us fun!
Once inside we met up with my good friend Jackie! And people actually recognized me!!! Granted, some of them confused me with the character's granddaughter....BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER SHE'S COOL TOO AND IT WAS AWESOME!
And the cookies were a big hit. People were like: HOLY SHIT THAT'S YOUR PROP?! And I got a lot of the professional photographers asking for a photo :O The only really tiny downside was that the pacifier I made broke before I even made it into the dealers hall :(
All in all though, THANK YOU PAULA FOR THE WONDERFUL COSPLAY THAT YOU MADE ME! I got called a mushroom cloud twice (LOL!) and one kid was like: i don't know who you are, but your hat is COOL! Plus I got an Urahara cosplayer hug and Chrome cosplayer hug! The girl who cosplayed Chrome totally walked the opposite direction while in the hallway to poke me on the shoulder and surprise hug me :D
And tomorrow, a whole bunch of my friends that I never see all at once are gonna be at AX!!!!! It's frickin' awesome! And hopefully I'll learn how to balance my mushroom cloud hat a bit better hehe :D
