6-Get A Six Pack By Summer windmill_scheme December 30 2008, 06:20:14 UTC

WHY- Even though it is a cliche resolution, it's a desirable one. I want to look good with my shirt off. I feel scrawny sometimes and this would help my self image. I don't even care that this one exceeds the vanity of all the rest of my "vain" resolutions, it's something that I am honestly concerned about.

HOW- For the first 2 months of 2009, I will do 20 sit-ups/crunches every morning, after I run. After the 2 months are up, I will increase the number depending on what I think I am then able to do.

WHAT WILL COME OF THIS? - I will look good without a shirt on. This will increase self-confidence.

SCRAWNY BOYS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Ryan's "scrawny" body. I'd love him even if he had a six pack, but him being so small makes me look at him as kind of vulnerable, like me. I'm intimidated by muscles.

7-Make A Sketch 4 Times A Week And Post It windmill_scheme December 30 2008, 06:20:33 UTC
WHY- It is another creative outlet for me that when set at such a steadfast schedule, will force me to express myself in a way I don't (currently) normally do. Also, the persistent use of my drawing ability will improve it, at this point I can barely call what I draw a doodle. This will increase my creative horizon ( ... )

8-Create A New LJ And Post In It At Least Once A Week, Excluding Sketches windmill_scheme December 30 2008, 06:20:54 UTC
WHY- Windmill_Scheme has served me well, but a lot has stuck to it that is indicative of the time it was made, which is good and bad at the same time. I am attempting to be reinvented in 2009, and I need a clean canvas onto which I can reflect this reinvention. I will not delete Windmill_Scheme, but rather just label it retired ( ... )

9-Be More Transparent With Who I Am windmill_scheme December 30 2008, 06:21:16 UTC
WHY- Because I don't like the idea of two people knowing two different versions of me. I want Danny to be Danny to be Danny to be the same Danny everyone knows. I want to be honest with myself and the world. Because I truly believe that the reason people have identity crises is because they uphold different identities within each realm of their life. I want Danny the Employee, Danny the Student, Danny the Friend, Danny the Son, Danny the Romantic, and Danny the Stranger on the Street all to be the same person. I want to be me at all times ( ... )

10-Delete My MySpace windmill_scheme December 30 2008, 06:21:34 UTC

WHY- Let's face it, MySpace is ridiculous, and the fact that I still have one, even as stripped of functionality as it is, is also ridiculous. I only use it at this point to look at pictures of my friends and stalk them in a weird way. I shouldn't have to stalk my own friends. I should just hang out with them. If MySpace is truly my only form of contact with them, then the friendship/relationship/spaceship/whatever-ship is not worth it.

HOW- I will delete it, plain and simple. No warning, no goodbye, it's all too ridiculous to even think about that stuff. I will also NOT open a Facebook account. I think there is a Danny Zamarripa Facebook page, but it's not mine, and I never want it to be.

WHAT WILL COME OF THIS? - I won't have a MySpace. I will be able to retire from saying "I have a MySpace." I will feel less like a loser guy. I may even cultivate some stronger friendships.
