This seems to be a rather pointless existence. Waking up every day without anything to do. I suppose the start of the school term would provide some form of entertainment. Maybe I can even join a club or five and make friends, laugh and be merry.

You get through it by finding things that make you happy. Mortality isn't all bad.

I suppose it doesn't help for me to say that flying makes me happy.

There's a sport that I saw on tv called hanggliding. It's close to flying.

That, and the fact that I'm supposed to be a pilot on a military scholarship.

It doesn't quite make me happy, though.
