Another fic that was recced on tumblr and made me glad I clicked on it! It took me like 2 days to read the whole thing because I kept getting interrupted but really I wanted to just sit here and read the whole thing in one go. Very engaging and believable.

it feels loaded with unintended meaning. Kris turns conspicuously away, to whisper in Zitao's ear, and something very dull and heavy erupts in Yixing's chest, like an explosion deep underwater.

That really stood out to me as an amazing line. You have a bunch of really great comparisons in here, including the tears/airport one. That one really speaks to me. LOL
