I made a papier mache fish in my marine biology class senior year of high school, it was gorgeous, I painted it hot pink, covered it in glitter, in honor of the childlike project, and still managed to get an A on it.
I wish I'd kept it, but I think I gave it to my teacher as a present.

Oh yes, the things mothers will do for the love of their children. I recall making some kind of corsage for my mom in school that she wore to church on Mother's Day. Ha, ha - out of egg cartons or something! :->
