Writer's Block: Who is your favorite artist?

My two favorite artists are American artists, Norman Rockwell and Grandma Moses. My two favorite impressionists are Monet and Renoir!

I like artists of Renaissance best. Last summer when I was in St. Petersbug I visit the Hermitage Museum and I firstly saw the original picture. I was so astonished how it is beautiful!
In general I love all classical periods and artists before XX century. :)

Seeing an original is amazing. They are so much more beautiful than the copies we see in books. In Chicago we have the Art Institute. They have many originals including some of Monet and Renoir! In the future, when you are traveling the world, you have to plan to come to Chicago and visit the Art Institute. :->

I really love Rosina Wachtmeister, a great german artist who isnt afraid of colour.

Yes, if I were to make a longer list, Van Gogh would definitely be on the list.
