Why wear a halter-top or a thin-strapped top if they are going to be showing their bra straps?
Because they're too busty to go without a bra? I agree the halter top-with-straps looks ridiculous-- and if you get a clip to hold your straps together, the problem is usually solved-- but I don't really see how anyone bigger than an A cup can get around the spaghetti-strap problem. Those silly "built-in bra" shelves just turn you into a uniboob. Unless you're okay with clear bra straps?

Thanks for your input. I yield to your expertise since I don't wear them. Your explanation makes sense.

Lol, the truth is objectively I don't like the look with bra straps either-- but I've never found a successful way to wear a thin-strap top without showing the bra straps, since I need a bra with mine. (I think secretly I was hoping you'd maybe found a perfect answer? :-:P).

If I find an answer, I'll be sure to let you know. (Secretly, if I were a woman, I'd go bra-less rather than show my straps. lol)

I'd love to know a good solution to that, too!! I avoid buying the cute tanks because I wouldn't be caught dead without a bra. The "strap perfect" works well for racer-back tops, but I haven't found a way to get around the spaghetti-straps. And yes, the uniboob looks worse than the visible bra strap :)

"Uniboob" is a new concept to me, but obviously it is a real problem.
