Ah, it's nice to be home :) darph_bobo and I spent the weekend visiting his brother and family down near Mechanicsburg. Since it was going to be a glorious weekend, we took the bikes. Ok - here's my suggested list -

Bluetooth cell phone (or adapter like the Cardo, but they kinda suck)
iPod w/docking connector
NaviPlay iPod Bluetooth adapter
A2DP capable Bluetooth headset (like Motorola HT820)

Motorola also has a music duo with the NaviPlay and the HT820 in one package, and this neat looking Bluetooth sunglasses/headset combo, but I'm not sure if it's A2DP or not.

With the Sprint voice command you can get weather reports read out to you. You may be able to get something similar if you have Verizon or Cingular, as well, but I'm not sure.

Of course, a GPS designed for the motorcycle like the Garmin zumo 550 would have a built-in MP3 player and Bluetooth as well, meaning you wouldn't need the iPod or NaviPlay. Of course, the iPod solution is a bit cheaper.

*shrug*

Sorry, you should give me an opening like that, it's kind of trained in....

hehe! I'm not complaining. I'm pretty much a neophyte when it comes to things like iPods and GPS units and such. I welcome any and all advice :) Thanks!
