From the Wanderlust collection.
BPAL SAYS: "A panoply of cultural treasures, spanning the herbs, flowers, oils and balms of the Romans, the Byzantines, the Mediterranean, the Levant, Northern China, Eastern Europe, Iran, the Bulgar-Kypchak, Mesopotamia, the Crimean Peninsula, Anatolia, Antioch, and North Africa."
IN THE BOTTLE: Cinnamon and clove.
WET ON SKIN: Cinnamon and clove.
DRYDOWN: Warm spices and a dusty green note, like dry grass. Clove is still the strongest of the spices, but it isn't overpowering like it was in the bottle and on initial application.
It's fading awfully fast, which may be due to my body chemistry at this particular time of the month. OTOH, the more it dries, the more I can pick out the soft, floral notes, which were lost beneath that first blast of cinnamon & clove.
I do like it, very much, but ten minutes after application it has all but vanished completely. I'll give it a go later in the month to see if it has more staying power then.
