BPAL SAYS: German fir and forest herbs, incense and bonfire smoke, infernal flora, glowing amber, and the wet, glimmering scent of skin warmed by dance.
IN THE BOTTLE: Green growing things.
WET ON SKIN: Damp green leaves, like the forest after a rain. Fresh, vibrant, alive. It definitely smells like spring.
DRYDOWN: The forest smells are fading now, bringing out the smoke and incense, and the barest hint of amber. Mmmm, nice.
DRY: A soft mixture of amber and fir.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we have found that rarest of beasts: a BPAL LE oil that actually works on my skin. The problem? It doesn't last very long. Then again, I'm taking a lot of different meds right now, and that could be affecting its staying power.
ETA: I may have spoken too soon, as it nows appears to have gone soapy on me. It's a very nice soap, but it's still soap. Damn.
