In the end leaving Rome was something both Buffy and I were ready for, she just headed to London while I headed to L.A. I missed California and the sun, the beach, all of it. The choice to go to school hadn't been exceptionally hard. More or less, there wasn't much that I wanted to do and the thought of staying home (what home?), getting high and playing Halo was low on my list of things I'd do with my life, though I'm positive that Dick is having the time of his life right about now. Veronica was off, last minute, to Stanford - and despite a brief and passionate moment our time had more than passed. So much for epic, huh ( ... )

I rolled my eyes at him, mostly to keep from really looking at him. I thought he was a huge ass and I wasn't looking foreword to this at all but he was hot and that hadn't escaped my noticed ( ... )

I actually laughed slightly at his response, which was something I guess. He was amusing, but that didn't make me like him. It made me think that maybe this harrowing experience of having to deal with a guy like Logan Echolls would at least be entertaining. Plus, if we did do either of my suggestions I couldn't wait to see his impression of these characters. Unfortunately, despite his general nature, he was pretty good in class ( ... )
