The choice to go to school hadn't been exceptionally hard. More or less, there wasn't much that I wanted to do and the thought of staying home (what home?), getting high and playing Halo was low on my list of things I'd do with my life, though I'm positive that Dick is having the time of his life right about now. Veronica was off, last minute, to Stanford - and despite a brief and passionate moment our time had more than passed. So much for epic, huh

I actually laughed slightly at his response, which was something I guess. He was amusing, but that didn't make me like him. It made me think that maybe this harrowing experience of having to deal with a guy like Logan Echolls would at least be entertaining.
