1) I friended you for a number of reasons, including a shared interest in like otters and wombats, as well as the conviction that anyone special to therealjae would be someone special indeed :-)
2) Song .. At this particular passage in your life -- Nancy White: I'm Babbling, from Momnipotent. The news references are many years old, but the message is still the same :-)
3) You were heavily involved with the Dean campaign in the leadup to the last US presidential election.
4) Not an in-person one, obviously, but one of the earlier bits that has stuck in my mind was your writing about going to a firing range. I'd had much the same sort of experience when I first learned to fire a rifle.
5) If it's not too personal -- I'd like your take on maintaining multiple relationships while nuturing a small child -- time and the availability or lack thereof is a practical issue, but I'm more interested in whether/if/how you think *you* have changed, if that makes any sense.

5) Photography had always seemed like a fit to me. I especially loved abstract images. I went to college with an art major, but so few of my classes had anything to do with it, so I left. I eventually went to photography school and began my career. After a decade of both taking pics and processing them, I stepped away. I'd never go into the processing end again and my docs have ordered the same. I would get back into taking pics digitally if I had an $LR. Right now my little Casio is all I can do. Maybe one day I'll take that "to-do" off the back burner.
