Is there any reason you don't use the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice for your icons?

I'm not complaining, I just wanna know.

The simple answer is that it doesn't hold my interest. The longer answer is that I've seen it - it was one of my first introductions to the world of Jane Austen and period films actually, and I liked it well enough at the time... but after I fell in love with LOTR, it was too slow paced and boring and I couldn't get into it whenever I tried to watch it. Then this version came out and I fell in love with it. I find the coloring in it to be much more creativity inspiring as well.

Huh...in regards to your other entry, you're right. Hee! The coloring in the 2005 P&P is indeed lovely!
