our work is never over

I am unbearably slow, but here we go: the Five Things meme, part one. Feel free to request more (actually, I'm encouraging you to), whether or not you did the first time around! I'll get around to all of them, they're ridiculously fun to do.

Five things Kaka wants to tell Sheva but never did and probably never will. Just because I loved that idea too much to let it go. )

drabbles, crack, five things meme, football

No, fantastic you! Your fangirling makes me blush so much because I don't deserve it at all; just know that the feeling is entirely reciprocated. :-* These are such great stress-relievers, actually. Memes rule.

Kaka and Sheva are my doomed, high fashion OTP. Speaking of which, I stumbled on some new pictures of Sheva in GQ (I think?) the other week, I should post them.

I am so clueless about Italian football - is the game entertaining so far?

3. Jamie probably would've broken his leg the next time they played each other.

OH MY GOD. Stevie and Carra give me the BFF shivers. So bad.

And you! ♥

BECAUSE THEY TOTALLY ARE. I would've worked in Danny, but, um, I know almost nothing about him. Such is life. The entire Carragher family makes me smile.

Danny confuses me and excites me. There's a small part of me that wishes he'd never left, because god, look at the turn his career took after that. And he was always a great player for us. On the other hand, it's like, DEAR SELF, PLS TO NOT GO MUSHY AND SENTIMENTAL, K? And the Houllier era was confusing and exciting, just like him, so I suppose it makes perfect sense that he left when he did.

Oh, they're lovely, the lot of them. I love them all, really, and I love your Stevie because he fits so well with the Stevie I picture.

The line that really got to me, though, was this one:

1. Michael had left a voicemail on his cellphone, that week. He'd said, "Don't do it. Trust me, I know." Steven didn't call him back.

It made me ache for that bittersweet Stevie/Michael that dragged me into the fandom in the first place. Gah. Lovely and sad.

Oh my gosh, icon. Stevie is so affectionate. :x

Michael's had a really tough time since he's left Liverpool, hasn't he. It's depressing. But, anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it! And, you know, feel free to request some from me if you'd like. :))

my first footballicon! I cannot bring myself to get rid of it because nostalgia is like a scab you keep picking and that never really heals.

I feel like there's a sort of doom over all the players leaving Liverpool - Michael, Danny, Emilie, Milan, Robbie - they seem to get stuck in a downward spiral. I will admit I am still very affectionate of Michael and my devastation when we didn't get him back was almost worse than when he left us.

Would it be terribly inappropriate if I requested some? Because I am, you know, a sucker for it. Really. Gah.

Go ahead and give me some prompts! I love working on them, there's none of the commitment that comes with writing something longer.

And that's exactly it - players never seem to fare well after leaving Liverpool, do they. They're all struck with horrible luck; injuries, poor form, whatever. Lesson learned? NEVER LEAVE IF YOU HAVE THE CHOICE.
