It's a curse that plays a memory out like a video on the network. I've seen it happen to others before. Considering the possibilities, it could have been a lot worse.

Your guess is as good as mine on the mechanics. Memories aren't like recorded video. They're vague and unclear in most cases. Even if you think you remember something exactly as it happened, chances are you really don't.
Considering the architectural impossibilities we're talking about here, I didn't think it'd be something I'd heard of. I'm curious as to what kind of building design could play off of that kind of optical illusion, though.
