Has anyone recently found or run across a small, black notebook by chance?

((ooc: Stolen by Flynn Rider, so the chances of anyone finding his notebook are slim to none. That he's asking on the network at all means he's exhausted almost every other option by this point. And he definitely isn't happy about it.))

lost and found?, dammit, a mistake

Have you checked the office?

[ Eames, for his part, looks rather uninterested, thumbing through a magazine for the time being. ]

[ Arthur is currently checking under the couch cushions despite knowing that the chances of it having fallen between them are pretty damn small. He turns back towards Eames to scowl pointedly. ]

I already told you, that's the first place I checked. It wasn't there. And I'd never leave it behind, anyway.

So you think you left it inside the couch.

[ Bemused look, aimed directly at whatever glossy picture is imprinted in the mag. ]

I do like your thinking.

That's not very descriptive, you know.

I'm well aware, but it's really just that - a black notebook. No name written on it or anything.

What's written inside?

Half of the pages have been written on. Mostly it's just random lists and notes written here and there.

You might want to give a better description than that. It's not like black notebooks are uncommon.

It's bound with an elastic band that goes around the right side of the cover. The pages are about half full of notes.

It's obvious there'd be notes in a notebook. But I haven't seen any with an elastic on the cover, so you're out of luck there.

Don't you have any idea where you left it?

I've checked the usual places, which means I probably dropped it somewhere. [ Though he doesn't really sound convinced of that. ]

Were I as tedious as a king, I could find it in my heart to meddle with none but the prince's subjects.

And Master, sir, do not forget to specify, when time and place shall assert, that I am a stranger.

Thanks, Celty. I'd think a notebook like this one would stick out in all this snow, but who knows.

It can be replaced easily enough. But if I could find this one, that'd be better. Don't worry yourself too much over it, though. It's not like it's the end of the world.
