this was so beautiful and excruciating at the same time..

and when he sleeps, he dreams about people attacking stone walls with baseball bats and Brian thinks it's pointless and stupid, but the walls crumble and fall. When he wakes up, he thinks there might be symbolism in there somewhere.
Love that symbolism. I think 'crumbling walls' are such a great metaphor for the B/J dynamic.

He wants to come in, smooth that line between Justin's eyebrows and crawl in that uncomfortable hospital bed with him and run his hands over Justin's arms and fall asleep and do a million other things that have no point and no meaning except that he's some pathetic thirty year old that cares too much for a kid twelve years his junior.
And here my heart broke...

But he knows he'll be there every night anyway.
