I believe Merlin was purposely ignoring Arthur because Arthur was drooling over Gwen the last time and ignoring poor woobie Merlin.. *nods* payback time! :P
I'm waiting to see whether they can pull off a believable relationship, the basis of which essentially only was laid last episode.
True, basing a relationship on one episode is a bit far fetched... Plus, they don't really have that good on- screen chemistry, Angel and Bradley. There was more in Morgana/Arthur than Gwen/Arthur. This just seems forced. I'll wait and see though.
