Hello, all. I just joined this community today because of my ever loving excitement over the DS. Umm, I don't have that much more to say about myself, other than I've been a huge Nintendo fan since I began playing video games

I like Nintendo a lot, too, and I dont see why people are always dissing on Gamecube. It's just a preference of what type of games you like to play, and while I agree that Gamecube doesnt keep up with PS2 or XBOX games, it also has a lot of features that those two systems dont have...like you said, the colors and all the mario games. Mario is just something I cant give up. Since I've grown up on the original series, PS2 and XBOX dont satisfy my tastes.

haha, well, i have to post in the defense of the PS2. while i have nothing against nintendo, the PS2 did come in different colors at one time, but no one bought them, so they stopped. And from what i have seen of the PSP it will come in just as many if not more colors as the GBA, SP, or DS. I grew up on Nintendo, and the only reason i got a PS2 instead of a Gamecube, is because of the lack of gaming choices for it.

In reply to that comment, about not having as many games, I say that although Nintendo might not have as many games, the ones they do have are very high quality. And I've heard mixed reports; some people say the PSP will only have the standard black color, where have you heard that it will come in many colors?

dude, dont mess with nintendo, its the best, the only reason i can even see that playstation is better is that you can play cds and dvds in it... which isnt a big deal if you have a dvd player, so i guess thats all i have to say

im not saying neintendo is bad, just that playstation is better. there are just as many games made for GC that are bad that are made for PS2. Look at games like FFX, or any of the final fantasies for that matter. they are some of the best games ever made, and what system are they for? thats right PS2. GC does have better mulitplayer games, but PS2 has better RPG's and racing games.
