That is so terribly unfortunate :(. Sometimes you can't override chemistry. Many many good thoughts for you and your family as you struggle through the loss of both boys ❤️. Thank you for being the soft spot for both to have landed.

I'm so, so sorry. I know - believe me, I know - how bad it hurts to lose an old pal like Cobby, but you absolutely did the right thing for him.

And Finn - oh boy, that had to be incredibly hard. Again, you did the right thing, but that one will hurt for a long time. I'm just glad you didn't get (worse) hurt.

You didn't fail either of them. You were there for them, you gave them the best life you could, and a kind death. Nothing lasts forever. It was time for Cobby to go and poor Finn - not every story has a happy ending, no matter what we do. But you tried your damnedest for him.

Peace be with you.

Do not feel guilty. I'm glad I was there for you, and that doc did not contribute to any problems. My heart breaks for you and them. You gave them your all, you have not failed (but I understand why you feel that way). I'll just keep reminding you that I stand with you in all these decisions, friend.

I'm so sorry!

You haven't failed! You can't fix everything! Both of them were dealt shitty hands. You did the best you possibly could for both of them! Its far kinder to put them down in the condition they're currently in than to sell Finn down the road where he'd hurt someone or get himself shipped to Mexico or try to have kept Cobb going for another miserable summer.

Let me know if you want to do something this afternoon if you want a distraction.

Sometimes the only consolation you have is that you're doing the right thing, and this sounds like the right thing twice over. Not the easy thing at all, but the right thing for sure.
