I look for the source of happiness in tangible objects and situations - the perfect job, body, qualification, partner, home, public status. Yet all of these, once acquired, lose their taste and flavour ( Read more... )

I think happiness finally comes when ya're able to sit down and not want anything.

Which we DO get sometimes... fleeting moments of joy when you're just able to need nothing more than what you have. If only the moments would last.

yes that really resonates with me. True happiness comes from within and not attachment to material objects.
