Frustrated

Oh, I'm so frustrated. I used to write a lot, while working and going to school and getting degrees and whatever (oh, also I was very active in fandom!) and now.....I am disabled, retired and restless, rediscovered fandom and got a new fandom (slash! yeah ) aaannnddd... Sigh, I need people to help who know the slash fandom part I'm kinda tentative

I'm not into McKay & Shep, but you should check out telesilla's journal, read her f'list. You'd probably find a lot of cool folks to hook up with.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I have done what was suggested and will investigate. Hopefully I will find fen who will want to talk McShep with me.

I know how frustrating and intimidating it can be to enter a new fandom as large and as established as SGA. But the people in SGA are by and large just wonderful almost always willing to squeal over the pretty that is John and Rodney. : )

I'm running ragged at work and home these days, so I'm not online as much as I used to be, but when I am, I'm always willing to wax poetic about Rodney McKay with you. (Though admittedly, my heart tips to Sheppard probably 2% more). Anyway, don't be a stranger! SGA is a fun fandom and always willing to let new kids play in the sandbox. : )

And as for discovering slash...well. Yes. Welcome to our own happy, pretty, handbasket to the Special Hell. The air conditioning doesn't always work, but the floor shows are spectacular! ; )
