I talk to movies and books, too. I also drive too fast, am disorganized and like to spend money I don't have. So we have much in common.

To tell you the truth, I think much of fandom has many of these tendencies. At least my fan friends do. I guess we all can grouse together and enjoy the many differences advantages of our community as a community together.
