Ahhh..it's nice to have a day off. Actually, I have a four day weekend. I have gone over the maximum vacation days, so I have to use 8 days before Dec. 5 or I lose them. Today I cleaned the house, did laundry, and baked cookies. All that domestic shit. Now I'm relaxing, watching "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". It's a tradition in my ( Read more... )

Side note: Is anyone else ready for the election in November so we don't have to watch those annoying political ads on tv anymore?

I'm counting down the minutes until it's over. Sooooo sick of politics.

I love ghost tours, especially when they focus on the past people and history rather then cheap frights. I hope it goes well.

I'm so ready to get the Republicans out of the White House already.

Let's hope the rest of the country feels the same way. After the last election, I've learned not to get my hopes up.

Being forced to take 8 vacation days, eh? What a hardship...

Political ads are really irritating--most just focus on one snippet of information, usually out of context, and beat it to death. And how sad, that there are people who (apparently) make their decisions based on those ads.

The guest on tonight's Colbert Report mentioned that Sarah Palin seems to be rabble rousing to a scary degree--encouraging the audience to shout out stuff like "Kill Obama" and on to racial epithets at her rallies. This we need in this country like a hole in the head.

Oh, that Palin. She's a maverick!
