Not much going on this week for me. Let's see...we got a new dishwasher. The door fell off of our old one, due to rusty hinges. So now we have a stainless steel Frigidaire that's shiny and new and so quiet that I had to turn off the fans to make sure it was working. Next on the agenda: stainless electric range and microwave. Well, I survived jury duty. It was a crashing bore, as I wasn't even called for a jury. So it was two days of sitting in a room with total strangers, nose in my book listening to cell phones vibrating all around me. I saw two movies this past weekend. "Hancock" and "The Dark Knight". Both pretty good, but I think I've had my fill of explosions, car crashes, and flying super hero guys. I went to the reenactment anyways. After my daughter's guitar lesson, we jumped in the car and headed off to Oregon. I have video of my hubby blowing up, which I'll post later. I'm watching Vh1 Rock Honors: The Who. It's pretty awesome. So far, The Foo Fighters performed a song with Gaz Coombes singing on Bargain. Wow, so good. Then Incubus did a couple songs and The Flaming Lips did See Me Feel Me/I'm Free from Tommy. Wayne even walked on the crowd in his famous bubble. I'm impressed so far. My son had his 17th birthday party Sunday night. It was a "LAN" party, which is where the guys all bring their computers and they play computer games all night. I mean, all night.
