Thanks! I've DL'd Daily Grape, Vintage Chart and iPairings so far and am going to play with them a little. Unfortunately the current version of Wine Notes, according to the reviews, is buggy - I'm going to wait and see if they fix it. :)
I will agree, Wine Notes is a little squirrely, but download it anyway. I do gripe about it every time I use it, but am also glad I have it. I would classify it as "klunky". It works well enough, though. When you try a new wine and want to record it, the app still works, especially with being able to take a snapshot of the bar code.

I used to use the free version for a long time and it was useful for finding info about wines, but the pro version is great for cataloging. Also, it's the only app I've found that works without a network connection (like in my basement).
Unfortunately, I haven't found anything comparable on iPhone...
