Uber-quick RL update.
Hokay! Here goes; I haven't updated in like 3 weeks and frankly, I feel like I've done 3 months' worth in that time XD Let's see.......
I've slept with Ron several times since that first time; it's going great and I really love it. And him. We usually go for girl-on-top but on Saturday I spent the night and we both didn't have work in the morning (he's on Hanukkah vacation and I had the evening shift) so we slept in, and when we woke up, we had morning!sex and it was slow, comfy, intimate missionary and it was also great.
We're going to Venice, Italy in February for the Mask Carnival. Ron's been planning to go no matter what, possibly even alone, for a while now, and he invited me also like two months ago already. At the time we were just freshly 'involved' and I shied away from the subject - what if by February we weren't together anymore and there was awkward baggage? (pun intended) But I get the feeling that Ron and I will be all right until then :) We're looking at deals now and we'll probably book something by the end of the month.
On Saturday two weeks ago Ron and I went on a little nature trip with - wait for it - Ori (the Legendary Ex) and his current girlfriend! Both she and Ron hate it when Ori and I meet up occasionally, so we just said fuck it, let's all get together, have a great day, and show our current SOs that there's no lingering attraction between Ori and myself. And fuck but it worked :) We brought a little gas burner and made pasta and tea, and walked by the Alexander River (more like a stream) and enjoyed the last of the sunshine - winter has finally deemed Israel worthy of its appearance at the end of fucking December now *rolls eyes*
Salsa has been pushed way down low in my priority ladder; I'm either not in the mood or work doesn't allow. I did come to a volunteer event (Salsa Mob) at a mental hospital, and tomorrow there's another event, but I haven't been to the regular salsa club more than twice in the past month. I did go to a fundraising night (where I paid full price instead of member's price or even free entry since I'm Ron's +1) for the Hayim ("Life") Association for kids with cancer. The idea was good and actually the organization was also pretty awesome, but I was in a bad mood and just didn't enjoy it. I even went home early instead of sleeping over at Ron's, which had been the original plan. Oh well.
Speaking of Ron again, the little genius dislocated his shoulder last week. He told me over the phone at 4PM that he was okay, in pain but okay - he'd actually fainted from the pain when he pushed his shoulder back into place!! - but when I came to visit him in the evening he said he was feeling nauseous and I could tell he wasn't focusing well so I forced him to go get checked out in the ER. I thought he might have a concussion, since he said he'd hit his head. We spent our 3 month anniversary waiting 2.5 hours in the ER... how romantic.
Work is going pretty awesomely (is that even a word? lol) right now. They treat us pretty well at the call-center, and look out for us - but starting next month, we'll be given less breaks (figuratively, not literally) and expected to get better at sales and stuff. So far I'm doing pretty okay; we'll see how high my bonus is when I get my paycheck on the 10th next month :)
6B is .... stressing me. I have to put together a portfolio and I have nothing. Seriously, nothing. I'm going to have to submit it sometime in March (hopefully late March, or else I'm really screwed) and I just have no inspiration. *sigh* It's sort of depressing me; I know I have to work at it and start doing art even if it sucks, just to get myself into artistic shape/state of mind again, but I just don't feel like it. It's making me nervous but at the same time, I'm not doing anything to change it so wtf? Gah.
Family stuff's going okay - Hanukkah is always fun because there's good food and family gatherings. My 'middle' sister R is working loving living with her boyfriend-recently-become-fiancé, and my two nephews are as cute as ever :)
