Seven weeks and one day until I leave the frozen tundra that is Chicago, and venture south to Melbourne again.

Now that David Tennant's not using the TARDIS, does anyone think he'll mind if I borrow it to speed that seven week time up a bit????

They'd damn well better not do it again. I'm grumpy enough in the mornings without the extra bonus of a wrong number.

• Food shopping - done!
• Kiwi-proofing the basement - done!
• Dishes - to be done!

Kiwi is such a doofus. He went downstairs with N this morning while N took care of some work stuff, and suddenly Kiwi was nowhere to be found. • Coming home is the best feeling ever. Being welcomed home is better than that.
• Vegemite iSnack 2.0 (or whatever it's called these days) is very meh, and surprisingly worse on the nutritional stats. I'll stick with the original, thanks.

In-room coffee and Starbucks lattes do not make for a healthy breakfast. Although they are very necessary after not much sleep. I'm midway through the in-room stuff, and will do a Starbucks run when I've dried my hair.
