I thought after you showed them your awesome prowess at the patty-cake style hand game that you had an in with the grandparents? Or was that just a minor event and their mocking of you continued?
I did kind of have an `in`, but it was more like they respected me as if I were a 3 or 4 year old. Like, oh yay! I moved up for the status of a dog, where they would act out everything they were saying, to a child they had to speak very slowly to and then ask if I understood. I think it was a big jump, but I still didn`t feel like being treated like a kid after a nice day. Plus it takes a lot of effort to understand someone when they decide it`s a good idea to just throw in random Ns and Gs and Ks.
And Koizumi is like the prez of J-pan, and the election was like a week or two ago, so he`s all over the press, along with him doing a bunch of stuff that I can`t understand.
Hey Janice!! Its Jerry. Just wanted to say hi, this is the first time I`ve really been able to really use a computer since getting to this crazy country and I`ve just been catching up with your adventures. I also wanted to mention that Heather and I will probably be attending a Dir en Grey concert in Nagoya (if all goes well) in late October and be staying overnight, so we thought it would be cool to say hi while we were up there. Yeah, let`s totally chill in the Nippon. If you`re having any problem figuring out the train stations and what have you, send me an e-mail or something, I`ve done pretty well to get down at least the local stuff.
