I bought the book for my brother around 9 PM Saturday night at Borders, then carefully read through it myself from eleven-thirty to four-thirty AM. It’s not nice to read things that you’ve bought for other people, I know, but he’s my brother, and I figured that he wouldn’t mind in this one instance. =_=.

Yeah, I read an interview with JKR recently -- while it's obvious that she doesn't care for the Malfoys much, at least she added some depth to their motives, even if said motivation was selfish. (according to her, at least; me, I'm not sure I'd label it as that, since it's IMHO their prime saving grace.)

Speaking of the common rooms, she also described the Hufflepuff one, though not in much detail. It sounds cool, though; large and warm and pillowy and full of secret passageways and corridors.

I've rethought my opinion on Molly killing Bellatrix. Although my first reaction was basically what I wrote in this post, after reading more opinions, I've come to agree with much of fandom that it was kind of too ridiculous to be taken seriously.

This comment is anemic, but you'll have to excuse me since my brain is somewhat dry right now. XD;;

Oh, btw: did you get my email that I sent a couple of weeks ago, also Potter-centric? You don't have to reply to it or anything like that, but I was wondering if you'd received it.
