Your boyfriend having said how you're among at forever is definitely worth something. The ex belongs to the past, somewhere completely different from where you guys are. Not looking backwards but living today, and looking to the future.

What you're doing is fine, just relax, and be you! He obviously picked you out precisely because you were you, and not someone else.
