So FFVII: Crisis Core came out in Japan yesterday. For the clueless of you, that is the PSP game that chronicles the events surrounding Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth in Nibelheim, the second official prequel to FFVII

Not hijacking this, but if the music biz is any indication, maybe us fans are actually gonna get what we want. Tis the season for band reunions and game remakes :)

Also, if they do, about freaking time! Finally something not Gran Turismo worth playing on my PS3. I didn't even like VII and I'm saying that.

Hehe, the dearth of games is the reason I haven't bought one yet, so I can see how just about anything with a major title to it would be a blessing for the system at this point. But can you IMAGINE how many people will buy the system for that game alone??? (*cough me cough*)

And yay for music getting it's act together too!

I left a comment on your LJ somewhere, but I'll reiterate here. If you want a pretty sort of PSP, there is a limited edition version with Crisis Core goodness plastered all over it's sparkly exterior that also comes with the Japanese game over there (which I expect you may be aware of). But it's a limited edition, and it retails for $400 over here (ugh). I hope it's cheaper over there and some of that pricing is merely import inflation, but it's hard to say with Japan and it's crazy collectors willing to pay anything.

In any case, if you see it in stores or on some TV ad over there, could you check the price for me? If it's cheaper, I am seriously considering finding a way to get one just because of all the toys that come with it (yay keitai strap!)

I'd be willing to maybe do that for you but I can't find any information on the limited edition psp. Do you know where I can see some pics? I've only seen adverts on tv for the game but since I have no money for a psp I wasn't really seriously considering getting one for myself.
