Absolutely. Either vanya [at] ticky-box [dot] com or vtucherov [at] tableausoftware [dot] com would work.

I'm interested. My current team is horrid, and I get laid off June 29th anyways.

I just don't want it to interfere with my C# classes at Bellevue College, but I can work around that.

Want my resume? I'm interested in Test or PM (though I don't have PM experience), and eventually moving into SDET work with C#. And I just finished my SQL language class a few months ago.

(And you've worked with me before! If you don't think I'd be a good fit, I understand. But, food and software in Fremont? I'll give it a shot.)

We don't really have a project management layer at present. As far as product management goes, it's handled from conceptualization near the top of the food chain.

As testers go, though, these people are amazing. It has been a long time since I've felt really junior in comparison- my department, currently numbering eight including our test manager- has two members with PhDs.

I think you'd fit in. Hell, they tolerate me, even as quirky as I am, so by all means drop me your stuff and I'll get you into the pipeline.

How much experience in testing is required? I know someone who I'm pretty sure would be fantastic for the job, but she hasn't actually worked as a tester before. She does have a fair bit of related technical experience, though.

It's a really really senior department. As in I think I'm the most junior in experience and qualifications and I've been in test for seven years and have three years of PM experience as well. A quarter of my department- all eight of us- have their PHDs, even, so we're probably not going to be a great place for a rookie, regardless of other quals.
