It sounds as though Damishita was not with you at this point either, and I am grateful for that too. Passengers seem more likely to have injuries.

I am concerned about the extent of your injuries. It sounds like you are *mostly* okay, but I will be happier if you can stop in to see a doc in a day or two, just to make sure there isn't anything not completely obvious.

I am extremely grateful that you have damashita. I know she will take the best care of you that can possibly be taken.

The car is at a shop in North Bend, WA awaiting a visit from an insurance adjuster. We'll have to go visit her to pick up some personal items I wasn't able to pull from the car while waiting for the wrecker to arrive, but she will surely be declared a total loss. :-(. Poor, sweet girl!

Oh, $#@! Please get yourself checked out. An impact that hard is bound to leave damage and it sometimes takes a few days for that to become apparent. Please be gentle with yourself 'til you know how you are.
