I hope today is filled with joy, laughter, and good times for everyone. I am hoping the coming year is better than the receding year, but I am also expecting it will be.

I am very pleased that we have been able to be more present in one another's lives in the last year, and exceptionally overjoyed for all concerned that you have new, and still growing previous, loves. :)

Congratulations on the weight loss (I know exactly how hard that is--it's a major accomplishment), the reconnection with your daughter, and the new relationship. Sounds like, all in all, it was a pretty fine year indeed. I'm guessing this means it's your birthday? Happy natal anniversary!
