The iTrip sucks for long car rides. The interface is terrible - you have to play a song that encodes the radio station that you want to broadcast on. So you'll be driving along, listening to something, when an interfering broadcast will come on. So you have to find another station on your radio that is broadcast free. Then you have to find the

Yeah, my mom loves her iTrip, but she's usually only driving around Indiana / Kentucky / Ohio, where the FM frequencies have plenty of regular, open space - very different from metropolitan areas.

Go for an adapter that pretends to be a Honda CD changer, works great:
