Sounds like they took too much blood, and didn't know what they were doing when they took blood.

I've donated 6 or 7 times.
We don't have the option for a pain killer, mostly because it's not needed, generally speaking.
They prep our arm, get us something to drink and snack on, and tell us to relax. Then, they stick us, and take a pint of blood.
The worst that happens to most people is a little lightheadedness.

In my case, because I have a problem maintaining my own body temperature (my average is almost 1 degree fahrenheit lower than most humans: Normal being 98.6 degrees, mine being 97.8), I get the chills for a week. I just can't stay warm. :(

This is why I only donate during the middle of summer, when I can't get rid of enough heat fast enough.

hey new and cutely icon Xial~!

yikes they were definitely taking a lot from meee~ 450ml~!

glad that you can take the pain, but anyway the feeling is
strange when something is inside you sucking your blood :|

I donno whether I am slightly warm-blooded or cold-blooded,
but I can say I always afraid of coldness, and after giving
blood away I started to feel colder :(
on the next day I just kept sneezing~~~

so when I do it next time I must make it in summer,
'cause I am an cold-blo00ded creature! :D
