[Sadly, Akihiko can't see people on his communicator; just the device itself when he holds it. Luckily he knows the owner of the voice he hears.]

Edogawa? [He sets down the food to respond, looking down at the device but appearing to stare past it on the monitor.] I'll be okay. Just looking for an elevator. [Or more like hoping for one. Overhearing people falling down the stairs gives him cause for concern when it comes time to take the stairs again. They're easier to use when he can hold the railing.]

...Well..I can see perfectly when nothing's moving.. and I don't think my sense of balance is damaged.
