06 [Action/Voice]

[It's late. It's cold. Florina's tired, sore, and upset, but right now, she just wants to get home. Anyone outside tonight might catch a flash of white soaring overhead, or see a pegasus and her rider knocking enthusiastically at the window of apartment 8 in the first Community Housing building.]

Ah! I'm alright! A-a-and I found her!

[...uh. That has to be the freakiest pegasus she's ever seen. She's so huge! And where's her cutie mark? And why is there somebody riding her and just--

Yeah. Very cartoony looking pegasus staring right back at them, also conveniently located in the sky.]

[Florina notices she's being watched and turns to look at...whatever it is. Well, it's flying, and it has hooves, ears, and a mane. So, maybe it might be a horse? Though, it's awfully small, and awfully blue. She blinks a few times and clears her throat. No use being rude and just staring at the little creature.]

I...um...c-can I help you?

[Oh, that's... awkward. Now she looks a little sheepish, if still a little confused.]

Er. Is that a pegasus?

[Man, seeing horses that can't talk was strange enough. But winged ones, too?]

Y-yes, yes she is. [There's a pause as she wonders if her next question is appropriate. She fidgets a little and then decides to just go for it.] Say, um, i-if you don't mind my asking... are you a pegasus?

[ voice ]

[ Madoka is worried about what's going on all around Luceti, of course, but seeing Florina now after hearing earlier that she disappeared.. She can't help but feel a bit relieved. ]

You're back..! Everyone was looking for you..

[ voice ]

[The relief in her friend's voice is surprising enough to Florina, but everything else Madoka says completely blows her mind.]

M-Madoka! I. Um. Well, I'm s-safe now, at least. S-so, um, I...people were...looking for me?

[ voice ]

T-that's right! Someone asked people about where you were, so I went looking for you but I couldn't find you anywhere..

... But you're alright now, so.. I'm glad.

[ voice ]

I'm a-alright, and, erm, I p-plan on staying that way.

[That statement would be almost convincing, if it was louder.]

Oh! M-Madoka! And s-speaking of looking, I um...I f-found my pegasus!

[voice]

[Florina startles and responds in an embarrassed whisper.]

O-oh um, t-t-thank you. She's n-not that remarkable though um, she's, well, she's just a p-p-perfectly normal pegasus...

[voice]

R-really? Oh. Um, they're c-common in my home country...

[ The idea of them being rare is so strange to her. Other worlds are so weird. But now she's curious.]

If pegasi are r-rare, erm, what k-kind of creatures do you have in your world?

[Waving at her from down below, Lyn tries to flag her down.]

L-L-Lyn!!

[ Huey swoops down so quickly that Florina goes rolling from her back. She stumbles to her feet mid roll and runs over to enthusiastically tackle Lyn.]

Oh thank goodness!! Ah! I'm just so glad to see you!

[With a sniffle, she bursts into tears.] ImissedyousomuchandIwaslockedoutandI just want to go hoooome!

[After that outburst, she gasps for air and collapses bonelessly against Lyn.]

[She catches Florina easily and wraps her arms around her in a tight hug.

Shh shh shh... It's okay now, it's okay. I'm here...

[She runs her hands through Florina's hair soothingly.]

[Voice]

Oh, Florina-san! I-It's great to hear you! I was so worried when L-Lyn-san told me you had gone missing.

[There's an audible sigh from her after this. Having Florina back is a nice break to the madness.]

N-Nodoka? Oh, I'm s-s-sorry I worried you! [ Yes, that's totally the most appropriate thing to say after you've been kidnapped. Mmmhmm.] I-it's alright, though, I'm okay now! I... I hope you weren't t-too worried!

[Voice]

Please don't apologise! I-It's not your fault. [No it isn't. Stop that apologising. |8] I'm glad you're well! Uhm, well, I'm v-very relieved now, so it doesn't matter if I was a little worried.

[Oh yeah, she was worried.]

A-alright. Well, y-you shouldn't have to worry anymore. I t-think I'm fine now, and, um, I d-don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon. Well, at least, n-n-not anywhere outside the village.
