[The second she hears that voice, Lyn is at her journal. Her eyes are wide and she's not entirely certain she believes her own ears.]

Florina?

[She almost drops her journal. Goodness, it talked! Wait a second, that voice...]

Ah! L-Lyn? I-is that you?

[Voice]

Florina! It is you!

[She's not sure whether to be overjoyed to see her (or, hear from her, anyway) or sick with worry.]

Where are you? No, wait, you wouldn't know that... what do you see around you?

[Voice]

[After she wipes her eyes with the back of her hand, she glances cautiously from side to side.]

Um...trees? L-lots...lots of trees.

[She really wishes she could be more specific than that.]

[... crying is a little unusual on the journals. Um.]

H=hey! You're going to be okay, just relax, yeah?

[She almost drops her journal. More people are talking, what is going on here?]

...er...I...um...a-a-alright...

Hey, relax! I'm just talking through the book. My name's Kurt.

[She freezes for a moment and stares blankly at the book, shaking slightly. Deep breaths, Florina, deep breaths.]

I...um...

[ There's almost a minute of silence before she finally manages to respond.]

Ah!...F-Florina...m-m-my name...my name is Florina...

[She's trying to relax, really.]

...if you need any help, I'll do whatever I can for you.

[She freezes up for a moment, and stares blankly at her journal before she finally responds. Her voice is barely above a whisper.]

Ah! N-no, no thank you. I'm, I'm alright. I...I think...er...a friend of m-m-mine is coming to get me. But t-thank you...um...for your offer.

Ah...if you say so. It's good to hear you have a friend, at least.
