[Finally, that event is over. After about the first two days the novelty and the usefulness of it had worn off, and the fog and multitude of tombstones had simply become annoying. Not to mention all the people getting upset over them. Now that it's gone, though, and not providing a distraction, Castiel has things to do. And, as usual, that involves ( Read more... )

getting things done, *video, asking questions, plot plot plot, gathering information, serious business, trading with the masses, oh hi lucifer, nerd angel time, the one sibling that doesn't suck

Oh, you have to learn how to be more subtle, darling.

[BUT SINCE HE ASKED.]

Breaking out of here won't work without a sizeable amount of energy and a complete understanding of how the time vortex has gone wrong over this little patch of the universe.

It isn't necessary. I've found most of those here will answer questions when asked directly.

I'm well aware. This is less for use regarding leaving this dimension, more for after.

Lucky you -- the masses trust you. That's something of a dangerous position to be in when faced with chaos.

I'm a time traveller. Hopping dimensions is what I do before breakfast. What is it you need to know?

I believe it's less that and more boredom that prompts responses. [Sure, some of those here like and maybe trust him, but there are many who don't. Though it is true he seems to be expected to deal with at least some of the chaos.]

The method used in your world. What must be done. It's technology that is used in your dimension, correct?

[Don't mind her, she's just sitting in your doorway, sulking. I mean being a mature adult.]

If you didn't draw on the floor so much, you wouldn't need more chalk.

[Rei. 8( He knows you disapprove okay but this is necessary. And hey.]

It's either chalk or blood and you seem to dislike the latter.

[stfu she is totally fine about all the things in her life what are you talking about]

Because cutting up your arm in the name of science isn't going to fly.

Hence why I'm in need of chalk.

[Obviously.]

I have some pink chalk left.

[Video] wingsandwill November 2 2011, 02:31:11 UTC
That would be satisfactory; color is unimportant. What do you want in return?

Do you happen to have a spare blanket? If you don't, that's fine.

What are you busy with?

I believe so. I will ask Rei to be certain.

I'm in the process of designing a sigil, and some of the warding in the Temple needs to be redone.

I have before. I was inside the Dark Kingdom's dimension.

[That had been a rather terrifying place to be, alone.]

But we had to find the entrance for that first. [In short, she's not much help about methods of doing it on her own. A Sailor Teleport might work... but only a few senshi are here.]

Was it a physical entrance? A threshold that could be simply be moved through?

That's right. It was near the North Pole. [She remembers that biting cold and snow.]

Was it a doorway, or did in manifest in some other manner?

It's theoretically possible in my world. I haven't attempted personally, but I know how, and I know someone who has. Unpleasant business.

[And you cannot have Nat's chalk, he needs those. :(]

Unpleasant in what manner?

[But Nat. 8|]

The Other Place separates the soul from the body. To cross over is to leave your body. As the soul becomes autonomous in The Other Place, your body becomes no longer needed.

Upon return, there are visible signs of premature aging, and- this is just from my observations- an inherent disconnect.

[Oh, that's fascinating.]

How does one cross over, and then return?
