Doing a lot of new-decade clearing out and cleaning out. I have gone through just about every single piece of clothing I own, which is a formidable task in itself. I have stuff spanning TEN SIZES. Glad you're feeling better. It is so ridiculously cold here, anything below 20 makes me want to go into hibernation but noooo gotta have all kinds of responsibilities and stuff. :p Bear envy! But I've been itching to knit too. Maybe I shall join you. Alas, I have no handpainted alpaca tho, just boring acrylics from the fabric store, so now I have yarn envy as well. ;)

Fabric store acrylics! Ee gads! The horror! Ok, I'm not really a yarn snob, I still have and love a ton of different fabric store acrylics. But there is nothing like having a nice wad of glorious, delicious, cozy, beautiful yarn to fondle and adore and dream of transforming into something glorious, delicious, cozy, and beautiful to wear!

Your neck of the OH woods is pretty distant from Columbus, isn't it? I guess I could look at a map... Oh! 40ish miles? That's not too bad. Anyway, I ask because the lady who taught me to knit WAS a yarn snob and moved to Columbus, so I can only assume there has to be a good yarn shop there.

It's been mostly 30ish but delving into the 20's with wind chills of 17 and stuff here. John's parents only turn the upstairs heater as high as 64 EVER. That's with their favourite son here. :P I can only imagine how it will be when he and his girlfriend go back to Florida. I know that's not as cold as Ohio and you guys get snow, but I'm about to keel over and go into hypothermia!
