To anyone who cares. I just spent $150 on amazon on games. I got good prices though! I got Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria for 35 dollars (if I bought it from gamestop or something it would be 50). I got Final Fantasy XII and the strat guide (yeah I know Brady guides suck, but, it's FF!) for $50. I also picked up Elite Beat Agents (for only $25) and ( Read more... )

Hopefully you've now received the Wii.

Oh... I know you think it will be awesome, but Silmeria was kinda Meh... (I hope you got the best ending for VP, because if you didn't you wont understand some of Silmeria). FF XII has a terribly repetitive and boring battle system, no character development, but a pretty damn enjoyable political backstory. Elite Beat Agents seems fun, but I only played a little bit of it, and I've never played Contact. So good luck, and have fun!

Of course I got the best ending in the original VP, Lucian is the man, I didn't want to give him up. I also heard that Silmeria is somewhat difficult, and I love a difficult RPG; they don't seem to make them anymore.

I've thought Final Fantasy has needed a changed of pace for a bit, and seeing this game in action previously has given me hope.

I still want to get the new Castlevania for DS and catch up on some console games by picking up Metal Saga and Steamboat Chronicles. I am very pretentious and think I have the greatest taste in video games ever.
