Shinji was there, having offered his time to help. He's off handing out pamphlets to anyone who walked close enough, though mostly he mumbled something awkwardly and shoved the paper in their direction since he wasn't much for speaking to total strangers.

Well, he was trying.

His Wurmple was on a table near him, nibbling on a healthy looking piece of Pokemon food, making happy chirping noises every so often.

Ester had come in with Rosie just for a quick check up. She was trying to look up more information on what would be the best way to become a breeder. She headed into the lobby and noticed Shinji working on something at a table. And walked over. She grinned seeing him and smiled.

"Always working Shinji? How's Wurmple?"

He managed a little smile at Ester and handed her a pamphlet. In it was various information about keeping Pokemon healthy.

"It's a good way to keep busy." The Pokemon in question chirped and smiled - in a way only a bug can - to Ester. "Chou-san is doing great. Getting bigger and stronger."

A slight pause, but the awkward didn't last very long. "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing okay. Feeling a bit down that I wasn't here when the Legendary birds showed up and I couldn't help at the gym when the fire burst out. But I'm doing better. I'm trying to keep my spirits up," she sat down across from him. Taking the pamphlet she turned it over in her hands and looked at it. She smiled at him.

"You're a very good artist Shinji! You know you should try to draw in the Art contest that Astrid is going to have. I'm sure you've heard of it right? Or at least I heard she might be having one..." Ester chuckled some and grinned, "I'm glad Chou's doing well. I wonder what Chou will evolve into. Hummm...You know I'm going back to being a Breeder, it would be fun to learn about bug pokemon."

"Hey! Can't you shed that somewhere else?!"

Jirou was staring at his Arbok, which had renewed it's skin near the daycare counter. It was embarrassing! Arbok was pushing it underneath, hiding it from view. It wasn't like he knew enough to help it or anything.

He looked back to see if anybody was watching.

"Come on. Do it quickly now."

"Hey! That's no way to speak to your Pokemon!" Having finished setting up another table, Florrance turned to see Jirou yelling at his Arbok. The nurse approached, arms folding. "Pokemon should be encouraged, not yelled at!" No, but their trainers are fair game. Huff.

She smiled and, without any signs of fear, glanced down to the Arbok, smile remaning. "It's okay, Arbok. You don't have anything to worry about here."

Jirou exhaled and glanced at Arbok. The snake turned, eyes half-closed, and slithered away from his shed skin. He'd got rid of his anger. But Jirou knew he'd have to teach Arbok later when not in public. He knew why he'd been yelled at but didn't care.

"Aww. Hey, I'm sorry. He was trying to hide this so I was trying to tell him not to." He booted the skin with his shoe. "Since it's your desk I thought he'd know to treat it better."
