It was obviously pointless trying to argue with Yuan considering his condition, but although he may not have been able to help with that, there was still at least one thing that Kratos could do for his old friend

Yuan had gotten accustomed to the mild seaside climate of Grand Chokmah, having spent the past couple of months recuperating in its hospital after the entire incident with Mithos. The warm air had been a particular blessing to him when he had been having difficulty maintaining his body temperature due to the blood loss... which, in truth, he still was despite the heavy cloak he was wearing. The cold air seemed even colder than normal to him and he shivered just slightly, pulling the cloak tighter around his body as he leaned on Kratos' arm

Kratos didn't speak for a while, letting Yuan take this all in in his own time. He could see the look of shock plainly written on his face as he watched the soft snow falling on his home. Everything looked different in the snow, but still beautiful. It wasn't exactly Flanoir, with it's warm glowing lamps and snow-laced buildings, but even these old ruins could look pretty under a white blanket of snow.
And more importantly it was home. For Yuan, at least.
After a moment, Kratos looked to his friend, still refusing to move from the spot where they were standing until he indicated otherwise. "Are you all right, Yuan?"
The concept of 'home' was something that Yuan had forgotten a long time ago. He no longer felt like he truly belonged anywhere... not here, not in Auldrant either. He merely drifted through life, going wherever he was needed or wherever he felt like. It wasn't something he gave much thought to most of the time, but the sight of his old home made him feel suddenly homesick. Briefly he wondered if he would ever feel like he belonged anywhere.
It took him a moment to realize that Kratos was speaking to him. "I'm fine," he said softly, his voice lacking its usual edge. "I was merely remembering, that's all."
Kratos simply nodded in response. He knew better than to ask his friend to share his thoughts. They were personal memories, none of his business. If Yuan wanted to share them, he would. Realising that Yuan was struggling with the cold a little, Kratos was adamant to get Yuan moving now. He was sure that he would want to look around Asgard again, and re-discover it in it's new white coating.
"Are you ready to move on? I will let you go where you want, just use me as your support," he said, genuine concern in his voice now.
