Sephiroth "Hm. ... Foolishness."
Same old Sephiroth - just even more distant and cold if that were possible. Canon ties. Angeal and Sephiroth were comrades while they were in SOLDIER together. Angeal still doesn't know much about what took place after his death, leaving him confused at some of Sephiroth's moods. Though despite his aggravation, if the man were in trouble, he'd be there for him a second. What are comrades for, anyway?
Zack "I almost can't believe you ever started calling me that."
Another canon tie. He was a mentor to Zack. Though he's purposely avoiding his protege at the moment. He fears that actually meeting Zack may cause past events to repeat. And he'd rather not put Zack through that again. Though as quiet as the young man has been, he's worried. Not that he'll admit it.
Chun-li "Not 'if.' 'When.' I've still got my heart set on a spar, you know. "
An unexpected friend. A little awkwardly met, since they were both under the influence of a 'love' inducing chemical in the air. Though he's come to respect Chun Li in a short time. He was impressed at how she handled the situation and her willingness to help out during the crisis. He was also interested to learn that there was a female fighter in this world. Both seem to share some common traits, making friendship possible even after the past events.
Lan Fan "I place my tutelage in your hands."
A little over polite maybe, but a good person. Watching her eagerness to learn in the kitchen was slightly reminiscent of training Zack - or just having someone to train again in general. It was a nice feeling.
Vexen "I believe I could do something, however I would need to run tests and gather more data before a course of action is decided."
A scientist. Does more need to be said? Angeal does not trust scientists as well he shouldn't. But it's the only help he's got right now, so it's help he'll take. There's that option or wait to degrade slowly.
President Shinra "Ah, so the men of my better days return to me. You come at a good time, Angeal Hewley."
Suspicion galore. He was just getting used to the idea of Rufus as a new president, then this new change in command again when Rufus goes 'missing'. While remaining outwardly loyal, Angeal has little trust for a leader he has yet to lay eyes on.
Itachi "Then let us hope that someone will be brave enough to stand and question this truth we've all been given. They're tricks will land a fall at some point."
Though little interaction has gone on between these two, he has a vague interest in this man. Itachi reminds him a bit of someone. Though he just can't place who yet.
