Thanks for posting this, I love shop stuff! I've only ever used lost wax casting to make a ring, I didn't even know people used flat metal to make them but it makes perfectly good sense.

If you don't mind my asking (feel free to just say, "Nunya..."); how much did you guys end up paying for that? Or if you'd rather -- this is really my question anyway -- did they make you pay extra for getting to make them or did you save some by doing that? (Really neat that they're so personalized :})
