I still function! o.o;;;

As a few of you have probably noticed, I've been reeeeeeeally slow in replying to e-mails lately x.x; I apologize for this. Instead of explaining many times, I decided it would just be better to write it here for all of you (all three of you? XD <3)  to see at the same time.

My schedule is at an all time "omgwtf fail!" Here's a pseudo rundown of the situation:

Monday: Horrible day, really. I have my 9 a.m. biology class followed by my 10 a.m. history class. In biology, there was a girl sitting behind me, and her friend sitting next to her. Well, the girl behind me was kicking her desk, which shook mine and made noise. She was restless and didn't want to be there (same girl that complains when we don't get out early...i.e, everyday), and apparently neither did her friend. Halfway through the class, her friend starts clicking her pen and tapping it, loudly, against her open notebook. Being nearly right behind me, I stopped being able to pay attention.

I asked her twice, nicely, to stop. In response, both girls began holding their pens closer to my head, clicking them violently, just because I asked them to stop (*just* to antagonize me; one of them was even giggling, she thought it was hilarious!). I missed half the lesson and was not a happy gweffin! >=( I told them after class that this was college, not high school, and that they both needed to grow up and start having respect for those around them, or it was going to be a long semester for all of us. One of them just rolled her eyes at me, and the other did the same but added, "WhatEva bitch." and they walked off. Oh, I don't think so! I told this to the instructor. Seeing this, one of the girls flipped me off on her way out of the room. Just wow!

I was so frustrated by this that I had to put my head down in History, something I *NEVER* do! I have a "no head on desk" policy, but I just couldn't stop shaking, my eyes were puffy, and I was frustrated. I apologized after class to my history teacher, and he assured me that it was alright. He could tell something was wrong, but I'm a perfect attendance student that sits in the front and takes lots of notes, so he just let me be. I'm feeling better now, though. Things were much better in biology today.

Tuesday: Confusing day. I had my 9 a.m. class and a 2 p.m. lab, but I got met by the math division secretary as soon as I got out of class. Apparently, something was wrong with my Biotechnology department scholarship application. Eh? It was a 2 page application o.o? fail? **facepalm**! When I got to the science division main office, the secretaries back there were absolutely baffled by it (it was the first they'd heard of it). Side note? Those ladies <3 me and took care of my application personally. I help the science department all the time, so I was their prime candidate, and the financial aid coordinator for the applications wouldn't tell them why she wanted it redone.

I brought it back to Josie Moore, the director of the biotechnology program for an explanation, and here was the deal: The lady in charge of the applications and Dr. Moore do *noooooooooot* get along! O.O;;;; Or as Josie put it, "She's a little sh!t." **hides**! Apparently, one applicant (out of 6 or 8) typed his essay portion instead of printing (the instructions say you can do one or the other). Well, my application was backed by Josie, so this lady thought, "Hmmm, well in this case, I'm not accepting yours, specifically, unless it's typed for me." My handwriting was perfectly neat and legible, and I was the only one she forced to type it, so she reeeeeeally ticked off Josie by doing this! O.O;

Ran back to the office, filled it out, re-typed the essay page with a typed response (a new one, since I wasn't given my old application back), ran it to Josie, and got back to mom's office just in time to have to pack up for lab.

**flails** \O.X/

Well, right after lab, I got a call from someone wanting tutoring asap (today at 12 noon). All I knew was the class she was in, but I had no idea what they were going over in class (a learning support math class). Well, I spent 2 hours that night reviewing anything and everything they could possibly be going over at this point in the semester and made notes to help her with. After I got too tired to continue math, I realized that I was falling behind in my history readings and stayed up another hour to do that. I was about ready to pass out.

Today: Busy day! 9 a.m. biology, those girls left me alone and sat a few seats down their isle. Good riddance. History was fun (lots of notes), and I set up a time with my history study partner for Monday evening (no classes Monday). Right after class, I went back to the office to review for 30 minutes on the tutoring material (just in case I left something out. Paranoid much?) before heading over to the tutoring center. I was...nervous. This was my first time ever officially tutoring someone (let alone my first actual job ever?). o.o;;;;

She could tell XD I was stuttering like crazy for the first ten minutes and didn't know where to start at all! After that, though, everything sort of clicked, and I ended up helping her with a lot of different concepts, not just the exact problems she wanted to review =) I can tutor each student up to 3 hours per week, so we scheduled another meeting for tomorrow at the same time for the remaining 1.5 hours of tutoring. It was a really good feeling seeing her start to grasp everything and come out of her shell by reiterating it to me. I know not everyone that asks for tutoring will be this open to understanding everything, but I'm really, really grateful that the first person I tutored was as sweet and understanding as she was ^^ **dances the dance of the happily dancing gweffin**! =D

Lab was actually pretty easy as well, even if my group was the last to leave. The four of us just kind of static'd to each other on the first lab day XD My kitty ears attracted the first two (they are just too hilarious! <3 Apparently good friends), and the other was at the table next to us and just kind of sneaked into the empty seat like a lost atom seeking a bond  XD "Wait... Where did you come from?!" "Hi to you, too."

Anyway, today has been stress free, just busy, and it's not over yet. I have to review the material for equations of a linear graph, interval notation, inverse notation, and slope intercepts. After that, I need to write out my schedule for tomorrow so I don't  forget to attend the meeting for tutors.

Tomorrow: I'll do more reviewing and note making before class for the afternoon tutoring session. Then, I have class from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a 30 minute organization/sitting break before I go to the tutoring center for another 1.5 hour appointment ^^ I don't mind being over prepared, though. My notes really seemed to help her, so I'm going to start doing that for all of my clients (all 2 of them so far). That will sum up our 3 hours for the week. After that lets out at 1:30 or 1:40 (depending on if she's late since she goes right to the appointment from work), I have a tutor meeting from 2 to 3. It's supposed to be an instructional seminar to help us if students are not exactly...polite or studious (i.e. complain about faculty, try to skip certain lessons, don't show up, harass you, etc; all of which I have heard previous tutors complain about). Should be fun ^^

On Friday, the only thing I know of that will be superfluous to my normal schedule of classes from 9 - 11 is a tutoring session with my other client (same subject as the other) at 1. We never set an ending time, so I'm just going to prepare for a full 3 hour session in case she really needs it (although I would never recommend three hours straight of the same subject to anyone; it's her call - if she wants it, I'll help her for the full three hours).

Sooooo, as you can see, I've been running on very little sleep, and I'm just getting used to having a job on top of a hectic full time schedule. I have never done this before, so it's taking its toll on me. As soon as I find a rhythm, I'll be responding regularly again. If it weren't for you three, I'd have completely lost my sanity by now (or remainder of it anyway)! <3

Oh! Enjoy some Kitty!Cade! I drew this while waiting for Jasy to get to the tutoring center today (she was a few minutes late). It's not colored/shaded, nor is it very detailed, but the scene was on my mind so I had to draw it =3 <3 Hope you like it!

I'll be sending out a few mail messages and a package on Friday, so be sure to check your mail boxes next week or the week after (depending on how lazy the delivery service is) =) I'll actually have the spare minutes to drop them off! XD

Sorry for the late replies. I'll be back after this week ends! <3 I hope everyone is having a good week.
