Aww, Cain's getting married!!

One could never describe a day in Ironforge as beautiful. There was no sunlight no gentle breeze no clouds or trees just hard stone and a very sticky heat, but those are the consequences for living inside a mountain surrounded by molten metal.

Cain pushed her way through the vendors and shoppers the shouts of sales and the cacophony of haggling bounced off the walls of the great city amplified the noise to almost near deafening levels. Cain however, didn’t seem phased at all with a beaming smile and a slight skip in her step the warlock headed toward the tailor shop to pick up some very special patterns  for a very special someone.

‘It happened’ she thought ‘it finally happened’ Rhyx and Cain were engaged a day Cain dreamt about for quite awhile now. Granted it wasn’t anything at all the way she envisioned it, instead of a romantic dinner in some exotic location it was done on the second floor of the very cramped home of Tri and Qynn in the hot muggy Ironforge. Instead of a beautiful silver ring with a shadowgem mounted on it, there was no ring neither Rhyx nor Cain could afford rings now. Finally instead of Rhyx proposing with an eloquent speech professing her love to Cain on bended knee, they were both standing and it was the warlock that spoke those four simple words, although they were not that simple since they were in demonic.

Cain had been showing off by whispering sweet nothings into to Rhyx in the fel language but then at that moment looking into the elf’s eyes watching her smile shyly, the warlock felt it.

When Cain was a little girl, she asked her father how he knew to marry her mother he said “Well Cay, I didn’t, no one knows when to ask someone to marry them…I felt it in my heart I looked into your mothers eyes and felt something I had never felt before and that’s when I proposed.”

‘Who’d of thought my father would actually help me out in the long run?…thanks daddy’ she thought walking up the stairs of the tailor shop.

Cain had the feeling her father was talking about in her hear that night and the words just flowed out of her like water from a stream, however, it came out in demonic. Cain froze in fear and embarrassment there would be no way Rhyx would understand what she had just asked her and the warlock would be to humiliated to ask again in common.

Before Cain could even open her mouth again however, Rhyx said yes, without understanding a word of what the young warlock was saying she said yes! Rhyx told her she had guessed from the context but Cain knew better because she knew that the rogue had the same feeling in her heart at that moment as well. ‘It wasn’t romantic, or fancy Void! It almost didn’t work at all!!…it was perfect’ she thought as she approached a well dressed gnomish tailor.

“Excuse me sir?” she said., “ I would like to purchase patterns for a tuxedo please…I’m getting married!!
